Auditing Blockchain & Digital Asset Series: Common Products & Applications

Part one of RSM’s ten-part Blockchain & Digital Assets Series, Common Products & Applications, covers the fundamentals of blockchain technology. After this course, participants will be able to explain what a digital asset is and how it operates within the economic environment. This ten-part series is designed to walk auditors through various elements associated with the auditing of digital assets (e.g. cryptocurrencies, tokens, etc.) and blockchain technology. In addition to providing examples of the most common items seen in this space, this series explores associated risks, assertions, and audit approach, and is designed to provide professionals with the foundational skills to perform an audit of digital assets and blockchain technology.
